To Miami
Austin Ekeler 13m/13m/13m/13m/UFA
Seth Williams 1m/1m/1m/1m/RFA
To Jacksonville
Brandin Cooks 7m/7m/7m/UFA
Amon-Ra St. Brown 3.5m/3.5m/3.5m/3.5m/OPT
Terrell Lewis 3m/3m/UFA
2023 2nd (Miami)
So, from my perspective, I have very little need for a 25 year old RB on an expensive contract with four years left. As good as Ekeler is, by the time I'm truly ready to compete, he'll be on the decline. I love the addition of Brandin Cooks here, even though Dashaun is probably going to jail. I'm really light at WR and the guy has been a consistent 240(ish) points per year player outside of his anomaly season in 2019. He's still in his prime and should have a lot left in the tank. He walks right into my number 1 WR slot.
I also like the perceived upgrade in Amon-Ra over Seth Williams. Lewis still has solid ceiling, especially if those knee issues are over. The addition of the 2nd round pick is the cherry on top of the sundae and what really pushed the deal towards Miami's favour.
Thanks to all who reached out on Ekeler, it was a tough decision. But, this is a winning move for the Jaguars. Hopefully it works out well for Miami, too.

MIA accepts. With an Austin Ekeler-sized hole at RB and depth at the WR position, MIA gets their RB1. Thanks JAX (and good luck with the Urban Meyer Experiment).
